So I told my mom iCarly was ending. She was sad and shocked but knew it had to end eventually. Then she asked me when it’s last episodes would be and I told her I think it’s supposed to be ending sometime in the fall. She said it was going to be weird not seeing Miranda Cosgrove on Nickelodeon anymore. I told her she was planning to go to college. She said that’s always a smart move.
Then I told her that a big chuck of the cast was staying with Nickelodeon.
Then, and this is why I love my mom, she says Sam and Freddie could have their own show. They’re talented she said. They have such great chemistry she said. Its hard to play that well when you’re that young she said.
I had to tell her that as much as I loved that idea Jennette is getting her own show and it looks like Nathan will be pursuing things outside of Nickelodeon.
I already warned her I would cry during the last episode but I kinda get the feeling she might get teary-eyed too so maybe I won’t be alone.
Thursday May 17 @ 10:38pmI don’t like using the word canceled in reference to iCarly ending or any good show for that matter. iCarly is too good to be canceled. iCarly is retiring. Doesn’t that sound better?
Thursday May 17 @ 06:11pm“I will love you forever..”
yesterday I cry over criminal minds, this morning I cry over criminal minds, now I cry over iCarly, later I will cry over both, after that more iCarly cries. Why is this happening all at once?! I am running out of tears.
